Picking up passports in Ireland

The passport office has advised that effective 1 January 2015 that if you travel to Ireland on a temporary passport you may not collect your full passport from any passport office in Ireland. Your full passport will be sent to the Honorary Consulate in Perth (or the office where you lodged your passport application). You are therefore expected to return to Australia on your temporary passport and exchange it for your full passport as soon as possible after arrival. It is your obligation to ensure that you contact Australian Emigration so that your visa is attached to your temporary passport and that that you have satisfied all immigration requirements for re-entry.
